26 BARIŞ AKSOY Leapstar Ventures United States JESSICA CRAWLEY Founders Factory United Kingdom Barış Aksoy is Founder and Managing Partner at Leapstar Ventures, a cross-border technology investment fund. Prior to Leapstar, Baris was heading technology investments in Turkey, Middle East and North Africa regions at Intel Capital. He has been doing technology investments for almost a decade with a number of successful exits: OpenFeint (acquired by Gree), Yume (NYSE IPO), Sense Networks (acquired by YellowPages), Kno (acquired by Intel), and DealMates (acquired by iBuy). Earlier in his career, Barış was an investor at University Venture Fund and was an early employee of Calix (NYSE: CALX), where he held product management and development roles. Barış started and grew the West Coast sales office for Alcatel's semiconductor subsidiary. Ms. Crawley joined Founders Forum in early 2013, helping on early innovation consultancy projects and running two thought-leadership forums: the Future of Payments Forum and the HealthTech Forum, each of which gathered relevant industry executives, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and investors together for debate and networking. In the Spring of 2015, the executive team of Founders Forum launched Founders Factory, a seed-stage co-creation and incubation business operating in six key sectors: Education, Media, Financial Services, Shopping, Beauty and Wellness, and Telecoms. At Founders Factory, Ms. Crawley curates an expert speaker series for the technology companies in their program and helps to build and establish valuable collaborations and partnerships within the wider tech ecosystem. STEFANO AZZLIN SELLALAB Italy Stefano is the Manager of SELLALAB, the business accelerator and innovation center of Gruppo Banca Sella. He previously held various positions within Banca Sella, ranging from software development, to ICT and web marketing.
