5 ELIZABETH GARNER Ernst & Young United Kingdom PAMIR GELENBE Hummingbird Ventures United Kingdom Elizabeth is the Program Operations Lead for the EY Vantage Program, a leadership development training program for EY staff across EMEIA FSO, supporting entrepreneurs in emerging markets on pro bono placements. In this role, she liaises with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver the program. Pamir is a Partner at Hummingbird Ventures, where he currently focuses his efforts on virtual currencies. He is also the founder of CoinSummit, a series of events in the US and Europe focused on virtual currencies. Previously he co-founded On Device Research, Flytxt and MarkaVIP, the leading on-line apparel and accessories e-tailer in the MENA region. Prior to that, he worked at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and D.E.Shaw. Pamir received his BS in Electrical Engineering Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University. London-based, Pamir speaks fluent English, Turkish and French. JUAN DE ANTONIO Cabify Spain Juan de Antonio is Founder & CEO of Cabify. He majored in Telecommunication Engineering at Universidad Politécnica (Madrid). It was at University when he first got exposed to technology and entrepreneurship and learned how to overcome technical challenges. After graduation, Juan worked as a developer in Ericsson and Nokia. Then he spent 3 years as a Management consultant working for Boston Consulting Group at their Madrid office. Juan received a Fulbright scholarship to complete his MBA at Stanford University in 2010. In the Bay Area he got exposed to the startup ecosystem and post-graduation helped grow the international sales and marketing network of Zero Motorcycles, the California-based electric motorcycle manufacturer. FADI GHANDOUR Wamda Capital United Arab Emirates Fadi Ghandour is the Founder and Vice Chairman of Aramex, one of the leading global logistics and transportation companies. He is currently a Managing Partner of Wamda Capital, a new Venture Capital fund focusing on technology investments in the Arab World. Fadi is also the Managing Partner of MENA Venture Investments, which invests in early stage tech companies. Passionate about social entrepreneurship, Fadi is the Founder and Chairman of Ruwwad for Development, a private-sector led community empowerment initiative that helps disadvantaged communities across the region overcome marginalization through activism, civic engagement, education and financial inclusion with support from the Ruwwad Micro Venture Fund.
