6 ROLAND MANGER Earlybird Venture Capital Germany Roland Manger is a co-founder and partner of Earlybird, an investment fund-based in Europe that focuses on emerging companies. Roland previously serves as a board member of abaXX Technology AG, where he was a driving force behind its sale to Cordys. As a board member of Purple Labs, Roland co-initiated its sale to Esmertec AG, which listed on the Swiss Exchange. Further, he was a board member of Scoreloop AG, which was sold to RIM. Roland also served on the board of Myriad Software Group AG and UPEK. He gained entrepreneurial experience when he joined the founding team of Cybernet AG, a provider of internet and system integration services which was subsequently listed on NASDAQ and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and later sold to PSINet and at Ditec AG. BAKHROM IBRAGIMOV EBRD Venture Capital Investment Programme United Kingdom Bakhrom is on the investments team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Previously Bakhrom was leading investments in European and US technology companies with Virgin Green Fund as a Founding Principal and TLcom Capital as Investment Director. Bakhrom also was Internet Finance Director and Associate Director of Planning and Analysis in Virgin Media. Bakhrom started his career as a technology investment banker with CSFB/DLJ and Cowen & Co. Bakhrom holds two Master's degrees on academic scholarships from the London School of Economics and Cambridge University, and an honors Bachelor degree from Tashkent State Technical University in Uzbekistan.
