9 JAMES CAMERON Accel Partners United Kingdom CHRISTIAN DORFFER Sweet Capital Limited United Kingdom James Cameron joined Accel in 2013 and focuses on enterprise software, security, fintech and marketplace businesses. Prior to joining Accel, he founded and ran BipSync, a SaaS- based research platform for investment management. James also spent time on the tech banking team at Morgan Stanley and as a corporate lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, Shanghai and Hong Kong. James grew up in Australia and graduated from the University of New South Wales and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Christian Dorffer is General Partner at Sweet Capital, an angel investment fund created and funded by the founders of King Digital Entertainment. He is also a founder and partner at BetaAngels (the tech angel investment club), a Co-Founder of Mindshapes (a company which creates educational games for children), and an Investor and Board Member at GameAnalytics and DogBuddy. In addition, Mr. Dorffer is an advisor at UNSILO (NLP Search). He has 15 years of experience advising corporates and investors on Product Innovation, Branding, Marketing and M&A in Telco, Tech, Media, CPG, Financial Services, Luxury and Medical Devices. Mr. Dorffer holds a Masters of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. KATHRINA FITZGERALD DMGT International United Kingdom HALA FADEL Leap Ventures Lebanon Kathrina is the Director of Strategy Development at DMGT (Daily Mail and General Trust), where she works with the CEO and Chairman on developing and evolving the company's vision and overall strategy. DMGT is an international business which brings together leading companies and talented people to provide businesses and consumers with high- quality analysis, information, news, and entertainment. At DMGT, Kathrina is responsible for group M&A, identifying and investigating investment opportunities, and overseeing the company's communications efforts. Kathrina also has responsibility for driving DMGT's international and new markets strategy. Kathrina was previously a vice president at JPMorgan Investment Bank, where she spent seven years on the corporate finance team. Hala is a partner at Leap Ventures, a growth stage venture capital fund in MENA, with offices in Beirut and Dubai. She is also the Founder and Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum for the pan-Arab region, which promotes entrepreneurship and organizes among other things, the MIT Arab startup competition. She is also an angel investor in start- up companies in the Middle East and Europe, and has launched a co-working space in Beirut called Coworking+961. She recently founded MIT Technology Review Arabic, the Arabic edition of MIT Technology Review Magazine, which covers science and innovation in the Arab region. Previously, Hala served as a portfolio manager for European Equities at Comgest, a 20 billion Euro equity fund, for 12 years.
