26 Heberto Taracena Heberto is the founder and CEO at Capital Invent Mx, a venture fund focused on new technology start-ups in LatAm. In 2011, Invent launched several different online communities, including Salud180 and Actitudfem, in partnership with Grupo Imagen Multimedia, one of the largest media companies in Mexico. Heberto previously co-founded Metroscubicos. com, the largest real estate portal in Mexico that was sold to Time Inc. In 2003, he was selected as one of the 20 "most promising entrepreneurs of the year" by the business magazine Expansion. He has degree in economics from ITAM and a master's degree in public policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Capital Invent Mx Mexico Alejandro Villalón ON Ventures Mexico Alejandro Villalón is a Managing Partner at ON Ventures, a fund that invests in companies with principal operations in Mexico that provide commercially viable and innovative products and services, while also contributing to the economic and social development of the country. He has years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurship. As both an entrepreneur and an investor, he has been involved in the formation of successful companies that have been acquired by multinational corporations. Alejandro is an Endeavor Entrepreneur, selected in 2005 for his company Capital Gain Intelligence. Previously he acted as Chief of Staff to the Mexican Secretary of Treasury. Arturo Weiss Pick Soldiers Field Angels Mexico Arturo co-founded Soldiers Field Angels, for which he currently serves as CIO. He is also Director and Co-founder of Grupo GWEP, DarSo, and MaxHome—companies in the real es- tate industry. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a master's degree from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. Soldiers Field Angels is a venture capital fund which looks to exponentially grow entrepreneurs and their businesses through the smart capital of Harvard Business School alumni.
