Throughout his career, Nazar has founded, led, invested in, and advised billion-dollar
Internet companies globally. Nazar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rise Capital and
was previously a Director at Tiger Global, where he was one of three people responsible for
managing the firm's private investments. Earlier in his career he was the CEO of Forticom, a
$1bn+ market value Internet company which he sold to Mail.ru (LSE: MAIL), and previously
co-led Goldman Sachs's Internet investment banking activities in the EMEA region. Nazar
is a current or former board member of YY (Nasdaq: YY), Forticom (acquired by LSE: MAIL),
Navent, IrokoTV, Belezanaweb, Ivi.ru, and MarcoPolo Learning, among others.
