5 José López Dan Green José Antonio Quesada Dan is a corporate partner in Gunderson Dettmer's Silicon Valley office. He focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies and venture capital and growth equity funds that invest in those companies. He specializes in all areas of corporate, securities and partnership law, including the formation and financing of companies, public offerings, debt transactions, corporate governance, and investor-side financings of all stages. Dan also serves as a judge in the Start-Up Chile program and is an active mentor and panelist with Endeavor. Dan was invited to Mexico City by the U.S. State Department and Mexico's National Entrepreneurship Institute to share best practices and participate in discussions on legislative reform in Mexico to foster greater innovative entrepreneurship and early stage investment. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was a shareholder in the Palo Alto office of Greenberg Traurig. He received his JD from Harvard Law School and his BA from Stanford University. Dan is admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts, and New York. PwC Mexico Gunderson Dettmer United State Gunderson Dettmer United State Jose L. Lopez is a corporate and securities associate at Gunderson Dettmer's Silicon Valley office. Jose specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. Jose is broadly experienced with public securities offerings, public company representation, corporate governance counseling, venture capital financing transactions, and a variety of M&A transaction structures. Jose represents a wide variety of technology companies from consumer internet, software, telecommunications, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Jose was a corporate associate in the New York office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. José graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was co- president of the student body and Editor-in-Chief of the California Law Review. José Antonio is Lead Partner of Clients and Markets at PwC and Head of the Financial Sector at the firm. Additionally, he is President of the Committee on Social Responsibility of Coparmex, President of the Subcommittee of Board Members of the Corporate Governance of the Consejo Coordinator Empresarial (CCE), and the President of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF). Recently, he was invited to form part of the Global Committee of Leadership Studies at PwC. José Antonio is a specialist in corporate governance, including the code of best corporate practices. He is an advisor to various boards of directors, where he acts as coordinator of public companies and those in the financial sector. Moreover, he volunteers as an Endeavor mentor and often speaks at conferences hosted by major universities. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, an MBA from ITAM, and a master's in accounting from ITAM and Florida International University. He has also completed IPADEs continuing education program for senior management.
