11 Andrés Chico Riverwood Capital United States Andrés Chico is an investment professional at Riverwood Capital Partners, where he is focused on investment opportunities in Latin America. Prior to joining Riverwood, Andres was an investment executive at Promecap S.A. de C.V., a Mexican private equity firm and family office, where he focused on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in Mexico and the US. Andres grew up in Mexico City where he graduated from Iberoamericana University with a BA in Finance. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Riverwood manages more than $2 billion, and makes private equity investments in high-growth businesses, primarily in the global technology, technology- enabled, and related growth industries. Pablo Coballasi Pablo is Co-founder and Managing Partner of PC Capital. Pablo previously worked in FondElec Group, one of the first private equity funds to invest in emerging markets, where he had the opportunity to collaborate in the management of an investment and co- investment portfolio of more than $US600 million in the US, Brazil, and Mexico, among other countries in the region. Before working at FondElec, Pablo worked as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting/Braxton Associates in diverse countries, attending to clients in the financial, energy, and consumer goods sectors. Pablo participates today in various boards of directors and is a member of the investment committee of Mexico Development, a private equity fund focused on investments in small and medium-sized companies in Mexico. Pablo is also a member of the committee of entrepreneurship of the Mexican Institute of Finances, and serves as a mentor for Endeavor, Start-up Mexico, and Wayra. PC Capital Mexico José Miguel Cortés Mexico Ventures Mexico José Miguel Cortés works for Mexico Ventures at Fondo de Fondos, where he has analyzed and invested in multiple venture capital funds and startup companies. Prior to Fondo de Fondos, he worked at Citigroup's Treasury in the Risk Treasury and the Treasury Information Unit. Previously, he co-founded a procurement IT startup for small and medium companies. José Miguel holds an industrial and systems engineering degree from Tecnologico de Monterrey and a Master in Finance from EADA Business School.
