12 Francisco José Coronel Francisco Coronel is Co-founder and Managing Director at Nxtp Labs, where he has actively participated in the fundraising process, receiving $40M from 120 investors worldwide, both private and public, to date. He successfully completed a sophisticated due diligence process to receive funding from the Inter-American Development Bank, the government of Chile (CORFO), the government of Mexico (INADEM), and the the city of Buenos Aires. Francisco was recognized as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2007 for his performance as co-founder and CFO at Archpartners, one of the projects he successfully developed. Francisco is a Certified Public Accountant who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and has completed a postgraduate specialization in finance at the University of California at Berkeley. Francisco is a Kauffman Fellow. Nxtp Labs is the most active investment funds for early-stage technology companies in Latin America. To date, the fund has already invested in more than 160 companies, 70 percent of which have received US$1 million in complementary investments in order to expand their business models in the region and around the globe. In this short period, Nxtp Labs has already achieved 11 exits or sales of companies. Nxtp Labs Argentina Deborah Dana Soldiers Field Angels Mexico Deborah Dana is a fund manager of Soldiers Field Angels, a venture capital fund which seeks to exponentially grow entrepreneurs and their businesses through the smart capital of Harvard Business School alumni. She is Co-founder and Board Member of Kiwilimon.com, the number one website for cooking recipes in Mexico. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Rafael De Haro Rafael is Managing Partner at VARIV Capital, a venture capital fund focused on early-stage technology opportunities. He is also a co-founder of Lifedots, a New York based mobile software company. Before VARIV and Lifedots, Rafael was an investment-banking associate in the M&A Group at JPMorgan in their London office and an associate attorney at the New York law firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. Rafael studied law at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, specialized in international law at the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris, and has an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business in New York. VARIV Capital is an investment firm focused on actively creating, developing, and scaling successful and innovative business models. The firm has developed a hybrid model that stands between a traditional VC and a more robust company builder.
