Jean Michel is a partner with Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., specializing in
mergers and scquisitions, rivate equity and capital markets. Among other mandates, he
recently advised AT&T in the US$1.87 billion acquisition of Nextel Mexico, and the US$5.57
billion sale of AT&T's 8% interest in America Móvil. Before that he advised Grupo Modelo in
the company's US$20.1 billion acquisition by Anheuser-Busch Inbev, which to date remains
the single largest acquisition in Mexico's history. Mr. Enriquez worked at Cravath, Swaine &
Moore LLP from 1997 to 1998. He obtained his JD from Universidad Iberoamericana, and
obtained his LL.M from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Geoffrey Fichte Pena is Head of Business Banking, HSBC Mexico, where is focused on
providing credit and advisory services to Mexican SMEs. Geoffrey leads a team of over 200
specialized bankers nationwide. In May, he led the launch of ´Energy Impulse´, a program
that funds USD 2 Billion in lending to companies to support Mexico´s historic energy reforms
in collaboration with Nacional Financiera. Geoffrey has international banking experience,
having lived in New York, Hong Kong and London. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in
Economics from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He is also an
Endeavor Mentor.
