8 MUSTAFA ABDEL-WADOOD The Abraaj Group UAE Mustafa Abdel-Wadood is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Abraaj Capital. In his capacity as Chief Executive Officer of Abraaj Capital Ltd. and head of the various investment committees, he oversees the company's investment activities. Mr. Abdel-Wadood has over 20 years of experience in the field of investment management, corporate finance and business development throughout the Middle East region and beyond. Prior to joining Abraaj Capital, Mr. Abdel-Wadood was at the regional investment bank EFG-Hermes with his last position there as Chief Executive Officer in the United Arab Emirates, overseeing the bank's expansion in the lower Gulf. Mr. Abdel-Wadood has served on the boards of several publicly listed and private companies. GHAITH YAFI B&Y Venture Partners Lebanon Ghaith is a Managing Partner at B&Y Venture Partners, a Beirut-based Venture Capital fund that invests globally with a focus on the ICT sector. He is also an active angel investor and a former entrepreneur himself with a successful track record having founded and exited a couple of companies in Canada and the UK. Ghaith previously served on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of Big Bus Tours, the leading global operator of open-top sightseeing and recently co-led a large private equity exit transaction for the business. Prior to that, Ghaith spent more than 6 years in investment banking working for Houlihan Lokey, HSBC Investment Banking in France. Hans has 17 years of global financial services experience across multiple disciplines, predominantly within the investment management industry. ABDALLAH YAFI B&Y Venture Partners Lebanon Abdallah is a Managing Partner at B&Y Venture Partners, an early-stage Lebanese investment fund that invests globally with a focus on the ICT sector. He is also an active angel investor, a former founder with a couple of online marketplace ventures under his belt and a successful track record of exiting companies in Canada and the UK. Abdallah previously served on the Board of Directors for and chaired the Strategy Committee of Big Bus Tours, the leading global operator of open-top sightseeing. Most recently, he co-led the private equity exit of the business. Abdallah holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
