14 RAJ GOLLAMUDI Intel Capital USA JAN NYHOLM Mountain Partners Switzerland Raj Gollamudi has been an Investment Director at Intel Capital since 2013 with a particular focus on the mobile sector. Previously, he was an Investment Partner at Omidyar Network, an impact investing firm where he was responsible for mobile technology investments in emerging markets. Before joining Omidyar, Raj was a General Partner of BlueStream Ventures, a $300 million technology venture capital firm which he co-founded in 2000. Raj began his career as a software developer at Sun Microsystems. Raj has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, a Master's in Computer Science from Clemson University, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani in India. Jan Nyholm is a seasoned senior executive in the financial services industry. He spent the first 16 years of his career at leading American firms, building their European business. His roles have included Executive Director at Fidelity Investments, Managing Director at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), Member of the European Executive Committee at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and an Executive Board position at Credit Suisse. During the last ten years, Jan Nyholm has been an entrepreneur and is, among others, a partner in a Swiss Bank as well as an advisor to large European financial services firms. He holds a BA in Economics from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from Columbia University in New York. BASEM SALFITI Hummingbird Ventures USA Based in London, Basem is Partner at Hummingbird Ventures. He currently serves on the board of directors of MarkaVIP, Souqualmal and Bank al Etihad in Jordan. Prior to joining Hummingbird, Basem was a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg Partners in London where he led the technology banking business in Europe. Prior, he was an Executive Director in the technology banking team at Morgan Stanley. Basem also held a number of executive management roles at BEST IC Laboratories, a semiconductor start up in Silicon Valley. Basem has a MBA with honors from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Electrical Engineering from Brown University. He is fluent in Arabic and English and speaks French. PEDRO VARGAS DAVID Alpac Capital Portugal Pedro Vargas David is the CEO and Managing Partner of Alpac Capital. Previously he was CEO of a construction conglomerate in Colombia and Head of Strategy for Portugal's largest retailer. Mr. Vargas David was a McKinsey consultant and served on the board of two successful presidential campaigns in Portugal. Mr. Vargas David holds an MBA from INSEAD, Executive Training from Harvard Business School and an economics degree from Nova School of Business and Economics.
