He represents global emerging growth technology companies throughout their lifecycles, and the venture capital and growth equity funds that invest in those companies. Jon has provided counsel on numerous public and private cross-border transactions in India, Singapore, the UAE, China, England and the United States, including U.S.-listed initial public offerings of foreign private issuers (FPIs) and domestic issuers, private securities offerings, acquisition finance transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises his clients on matters of corporate governance, public disclosure, and executive compensation. Jon's current company clients include Flipkart and Souq. Oliver J. Simpson is an Associate in the Dubai office of Conyers Dill & Pearman, an international law firm advising on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and Mauritius. Oliver joined Conyers in 2015. Oliver's practice includes a broad range of corporate, investment funds, private equity, capital markets and finance work. Khaled Talhouni, Managing Partner at Wamda Capital, is a career private equity and venture capital professional with significant experience in value creation and realization. With over seven years of venture capital experience in the Middle East, Khaled has had experience in the region originating, appraising, structuring, negotiating and executing private equity investments and venture capital transactions in the TMT space. Throughout his career, he has been involved in over 30 venture capital investment transactions and has been responsible for investing and managing over US$40 million in investments. NOOR SWEID Leap Ventures UAE Noor Sweid has 14 years of experience in the private equity sector and has particular expertise in relation to strategy, growth, execution and exits. Noor led the growth and initial public offering of Depa, the world's largest interior contractor, on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ Dubai, and founded, grew and exited ZenYoga via a private equity sale. Noor is an angel investor and is also the founder and chairperson of 85Broads, a network of former Goldman Sachs exployees and graduates of top management schools. She also sits on the board of Endeavor UAE. Noor holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
