Hiro has extensive international experience, both as an investor and entrepreneur, and works closely with Atomico's portfolio companies on their international strategy. Prior to Atomico, Hiro co-founded a principal investment firm based in Tokyo, deploying over $300 million into Asia based investments. He also founded Triple Junction, the technology consultancy that helped Skype grow its business rapidly in Japan and throughout the Asia Pacific region. GABE TURNER Draper Venture Network (DVN) United States Gabe Turner is the Managing Director of the Draper Venture Network, a collective of 11 independent VC firms across 4 continents that collaborate on opportunity sourcing, diligence and value creation for their investments. Prior to DVN, Gabe spent six years as a management consultant, first with Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice and then as an independent advisor to governments on policy related to science, technology and innovation. Prior to NEA, Sheel was at Bessemer Venture Partners where he sourced & co-led BVP's 2011 investment in Snapdeal, now India's largest e-commerce marketplace and currently valued at over $5 billion. As an angel investor, Sheel has personally invested in the seed and/or Series A of Andela, Casper, Fiscalnote, FusionOps, HelloGiggles (acquired by Time), IfOnly, Ironclad, Mark43, Pinterest, and Robinhood. Sheel graduated from Stanford University. He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and was the youngest on the Forbes 30 under 30 list for finance in 2013.
