14 SCOTT RANSENBERG Riverwood Capital United States Scott Ransenberg is a Principal with Riverwood Capital. Prior to joining Riverwood, Scott worked with the Credit Suisse Technology Group in the Corporate Finance, Investment Banking Division based in San Francisco. While at Credit Suisse, Scott advised on and executed a number of strategic financing initiatives for leading public and private companies in the technology sector. Scott graduated from Stanford University where he earned his bachelor's degree in mathematical and computational sciences and was a captain of the men's varsity swim team. YURI PAPADIN The Angel's Forum United States Yuri is an Investor-in-Residence at The Angel's Forum and a mentor at Plug & Play accelerator and Alchemist Accelerator in the San Francisco Bay Area. He works with early stage startups in various domains, including financial technology, data security, SaaS and consumer focused verticals, and is also a corporate development / M&A advisor to enterprise software technology clients and late stage startups. Prior to joining the startup scene, Yuri was a corporate development / M&A lead at several publicly traded technology companies for over ten years, working on the full M&A deal life cycle (strategic and competitive analyses, deal sourcing, financial analysis and valuation, due diligence, negotiations and closing, integration planning and execution, transition services management). JAY PAULEY Summit Partners United States Jay joined Summit Partners in 2010, and focuses primarily on the growth products & services and energy sectors. Jay's board and investment experience includes Central Security Group, Grand Design RV, Parts Town, Vivint and Vivint Solar (NASDAQ: VSLR). Prior to Summit, Jay was a Vice President at GTCR and an Associate at Apax Partners where he focused on technology and services investments. Before that, he worked for GE Capital. Jay received a BS, magna cum laude, from the Honors Business Program at the Ohio State University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Jay is active with Endeavor Global, a not for profit focused on accelerating entrepreneurship in emerging markets, where he helped open the Turkey office. ALEJANDRO PONCE ToN Ventures Peru Alejandro is a Peruvian economist, entrepreneur and investor. He is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Nexus Group, the largest Peruvian private equity firm with a total of 1 billion AUM. Before Nexus, Alejandro was the Director for Infrastructure and Development at Supermercados Peruanos. He has founded a number of notable companies including Cineplanet, Casa Andina, Innova Schools, Oechsle and Promart, among others. Additionally, Alejandro serves as Board Member to various companies including PeruPlast, Colegios Peruanos, Inkafarma and Bembos. In 2013, Alejandro was named one of the Top 50 most influential people in Latin American private equity by Private Equity World. Alejandro holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Universidad del PacĂfico and has an MBA from Wharton School of Business.
