Prior to this, Emily worked as an investor at a $4 billion private equity fund, where she did $100+ million buyout transactions and helped scale the operations of companies acquired. Prior to 500 Startups, Neil was a venture capital and start-up attorney at Fenwick & West, where he represented clients such as Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, Accel Partners, Google Ventures, King Digital Entertainment, Jet.com, Tile and many others. Prior to that, Neil was an M&A and private equity attorney at Kirkland & Ellis in New York and San Francisco, where he represented clients such as Brystol-Myers Squibb, Burger King, 3G Capital and Bain Capital. As a banking advisor to global startups, Dario helps clients to manage investment assets and provides guidance on potential debt solutions for companies scaling in the US and Europe. Prior to joining SVB's Global Gateway, Dario performed loan portfolio analysis within SVB's Credit Reporting group, and has several years of business analyst experience. Dario received his B.S. from Stanford University and MBA from Santa Clara University.
