AMEX VENTURES, the strategic investment group within American Express, seeks to drive innovation by leveraging investments in disruptive startups – in areas that include next generation payments, collaborative commerce, multi-channel engagement, B2B payments, and data analytics. ATOMICO is an international technology investment firm headquartered in London, with offices in Beijing, Istanbul, São Paulo, and Tokyo. Founded in 2006 by Niklas Zennström, a co-founder of Skype, Atomico has made over 50 investments across four continents. Atomico looks for outstanding companies that have a proven game-changing technology or a disruptive business model, that are showing real signs of traction, and have the potential to become an international category leader with a brand loved by users and customers.
