Each of these businesses is unique, but all face common challenges to unlocking long-term growth. Mithril helps navigate these critical inflection points, and invest in size and with conviction. Ajay Royan and Peter Thiel, both cofounders and investors in Mithril, serve as its investment committee. MOUNTAIN NAZCA is the leading Latin American investment and company building group with local hubs in Mexico, Chile and Colombia. Mountain Nazca operates two company builders and three investment funds, focussing on early stage ICT companies. Mountain Nazca was founded and continues to be managed by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs with a strong track record. Notable investments include: BlueSmart, Nubleer, and Petsy. NEW ENTERPRISE ASSOCIATES (NEA) partners with entrepreneurs to build transformational businesses across multiple stages, sectors and geographies. As one of the world's largest and most active venture capital firms with more than $13 billion in committed capital, the firm's long track record includes more than 190 portfolio company IPOs and more than 300 acquisitions. NEA has multiple offices across the US, India and China. Notable investments include: Fetchr and Salesforce. OMIDYAR NETWORK, founded by Pierre Omidyar (founder of eBay) and his wife Pam, is a philanthropic investment firm that makes investments & grants to companies and non-profits that maximize positive social impact through their work. They are focused on five key areas: consumer internet and mobile, education, financial inclusion, governance & citizen engagement, and property rights. The firm's mandate is to focus on companies that target low to moderate-income populations at the base of the pyramid. Notable investments include: Ruma, Geekie and Mimoni. PROPEL VENTURE PARTNERS is a venture capital firm focused on opportunities at the intersection of technology and finance, including payments, credit, insurance, wealth management, e-commerce, security and compliance. With offices in San Francisco and London, they are primarily focused on opportunities in the US and Europe. Propel is an independent investment organization. BBVA, the leading Spanish bank, is a limited partner in Propel. PUENTELABS is a San Francisco based organization whose mission is to identify the best Latin American companies and entrepreneurs and help them scale their businesses by leveraging Silicon Valley networks and best practices. While PuenteLabs will invest and accelerate a select group of companies, they are not an investment fund. They are a hybrid network comprised of corporations, investors, non-profits, sponsors, founders and mentors that aim to support founders from LatAm. RICHMOND GLOBAL VENTURES invests in global venture opportunities that can "scale up" rapidly, with an emphasis on market disruptive technologies that create dominant platforms or network.
