13 JACK LEENEY Portfolio Manager, Telefonica Ventures Unites States Jack Leeney serves as Portfolio Manager at Telefonica Ventures where he is a Board Observer for Eventful and Quantenna Communications and a Board Advisor for CinePapaya and Bragbet. Previously, Mr. Leeney served as an Investment Banking Associate at Morgan Stanley within the technology investment banking group in Menlo Park. While an Investment Banker, Mr. Leeney worked on 19 completed equity transactions for a total volume of $12.2 billion in capital raised with notable client work for Ancestry.com, LinkedIn, Pandora and Tesla Motors. Mr. Leeney also served as a Senior Associate at Hercules Growth Capital, with investment coverage for Box, Glam Media, IntelePeer, Hi5 Networks and Reply.com. Mr. Leeney graduated from Syracuse University with a Dual Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship, cum laude. Adan specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. Adan is broadly experienced with corporate formation and governance matters, venture capital financing transactions, and a variety of M&A transaction structures. Adan represents a wide variety of technology companies from consumer internet, software, telecommunications, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms. He holds a B.A. in Politcal Science and Economics from the University of Florida and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Jan Nyholm is a seasoned senior executive in the financial services industry. He spent the first 16 years of his career at leading, mainly American firms, building their European business. His roles have included Executive Director at Fidelity Investments, Managing Director at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), Member of the European Executive Committee at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and an Executive Board position at Credit Suisse. During the last ten years Jan Nyholm has been an entrepreneur and is, among others, a partner in a Swiss Bank as well as an advisor to large European financial services firms. He holds a BA in Economics from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from Columbia University in New York. Mr. Nicklas serves as Partner at Valor Capital Group and has been involved with Internet startups for the last 15 years as an entrepreneur, executive and investor. He has led key Internet initiatives at Fortune 500 companies including the digital video group at Viacom and the online group at Univision; launched two startups, The Gryphon Group and Thirst, in NYC's Silicon Alley; and been active as both an angel and VC investor in Latin America. Prior to joining Valor Capital Group, Mr. Nicklas was Managing Director for Ideiasnet, SA, a publicly-traded technology holding and venture capital group based in Rio de Janeiro. Mr. Nicklas has sat on the boards of several leading technology companies in Brazil including Bolsa de Mulher, iMusica and Officer.
