Mr. Kumar Shah is a senior technology investor with success establishing and leading
investment programs focused on early- and growth-stage companies across the world. As the
Head of Strategy and M&A at Micromax Informatics, he is responsible for actively sourcing
and working with startups across major technology markets such as Silicon Valley, Europe,
Israel and India to bring in the best products, capabilities and talent for the company. He has
been instrumental in spearheading investments in startups to build mobile services that offer
a differentiated experience to Micromax consumers. Prior to Micromax, Kumar worked with
a global growth stage private equity fund where he helped establish their South Asia fund and
led investments in industrial technology companies.
