9 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 ALDI HARYOPRATOMO Co-founder & CEO, Ruma Indonesia Aldi Haryopratomo is the Co-founder and CEO of Ruma, a social enterprise that recruits and trains thousands of low-income entrepreneurs to provide services to their communities through a phone or android device. He built Ruma to give its members access to a better life. There are hundreds of thousands of community leaders in Indonesia. These leaders give insight on what products are needed, so that Ruma can go directly to the manufacturer and provide better quality products at a lower price. Their products include bill payments, loans, cookware, electronics, and furniture. Prior to Ruma, Aldi worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and was an early employee at Kiva.org, a San Francisco based online peer to peer lending organization. Aldi was elected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012. BETH ROBERTSON Manager, Investor Network, Endeavor Global United States Based in San Francisco, Beth leads the Endeavor Investor Network. During her tenure with Endeavor, Beth has supported dozens of growth-market companies to raise venture capital. Under her leadership, the Endeavor Investor Network is thriving in Latin America, North America, and Europe, with a growing presence in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. A graduate of Cornell University and Mount Holyoke College, Beth brings a wide range of experiences to her role with Endeavor. Previously, she worked in Uganda & Kenya installing Rain-Water harvesting tanks; in South Asia studying the impact of private sector investment on economic development and in Nepal researching the impact of large-scale hydroelectric dams the downstream economies of agrarian communities. SATI RASUANTO Managing Director, Endeavor Indonesia Indonesia Sati Rasuanto is the founding Managing Director of Endeavor in Indonesia, a global network committed to building entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world by selecting and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs. After working as a financial analyst for a few years, Sati joined the World Bank as an energy specialist, and then as the adviser to the Country Director. Following the formation of Indonesia's new cabinet in 2009, Sati joined the Indonesian Government as the chief of staff to Gita Wirjawan who at the time was the Chairman of Indonesia's Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the Minister of Trade. In 2011, she co-founded Strategic Review: The Indonesian Journal of Public Policy, Leadership and World Affairs. Sati is also a Yale World Fellow and a Kauffman Fellow. BRUNO ARAUJO Co-founder & COO, iMoney Malaysia Bruno Araujo is the Co-founder & COO of iMoney, Southeast Asia's leading financial services comparison website. In this role, he has led iMoney's expansion into new markets (Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore), successfully raised over $9M USD of venture capital funding, and grown the business from four to 120 employees. Bruno has held senior leadership positions at consumer banks such as CIMB, Citi, Egg and RBS as well as advising on bank M&A deals. He has a strong track record in launching innovative online banking propositions and growing consumer FS brands. Bruno holds a BA in English & History from the University of York and an MBA from the University of Liverpool.
