EDUCATION
In South Florida, the education landscape
is promising for growth and already has
a large amount of activity. Neighborhood
programs led by local organizations such
as WLRN and PBS, as well as private
companies like Wyncode, an Endeavor
Miami portfolio company, are leading the
way and creating a community focused on
education and progress.
Universities are taking a more active role in
preparing students and addressing the talent
gap in our community. For example, through The
Idea Center, MDC is constantly bringing innovative
ways of learning and thinking for students to be
prepared for our fast changing economy.
Over 300 students have graduated from Wyncode's
program and, by the end of 2016, nearly 400 students
will be graduating from the program.

KEY TREND:
While more than half of South Florida's
educational institutions have begun to
experiment with digital content, just 22% of
them have a complete strategy for digital
transition in place. There is a tremendous amount
of opportunity here, as only 3% of schools have
completed the move to an all-digital content and
curriculum environment.
