WYNCODE Wyncode has graduated over 300 developers at a 97% job placement rate, with the majority of program graduates working for local tech companies. Over 80 companies have hired from the program so far, and 35 companies have hired at least a second Wyncode graduate. Wyncode regularly organizes community events, such as free "Learn to Code" classes and events like "Wyntroduction to Code," where 100 students took part in a day-long coding bootcamp. Wyncode is not only passionate about building a tech ecosystem in South Florida, but it also places particular importance on diversity by offering two full scholarships for underrepresented groups in tech through the support of the Knight Foundation, as well as by offering automatic scholarships for women and veterans. Wyncode recently followed through on its White House pledge to provide transparent education by releasing an independently verified jobs outcome report, the fourth coding bootcamp in the nation to do so (www.wyncode.co/ jobs-report). Data gathered from Wyncode's 2014 and 2015 web immersive cohorts indicate that women graduating from Wyncode have a higher starting salary than males. Following graduation from Wyncode, students with a high school diploma perform at similar placement levels to those with undergraduate degrees. Wyncode's partnership with Babson's WIN Lab, a program designed to help women entrepreneurs launch successful businesses, establishes Wyncode Co-Founder, Johanna Mikkola, as a WIN Lab Entrepreneur-in-Res- idence. Johanna serves as a mentor for the participants of the program and also offers WIN Lab members additional talent development benefits from Wyncode Academy. 17 2015/2016
