Welcome Entering its 3rd year, Endeavor Miami is proud to present the 2015-2016 Impact Report. Endeavor entered the South Florida market to provide high-impact entrepreneurs that can scale their businesses with access to talent, capital and mentorship. Today, we are proud to support the growth of 15 South Florida high-impact companies and we plan to continue adding more. These companies are expected to generate more than $100 million in revenue and more than 1,500 jobs. This report focuses on the importance of talent as an enabler of economic growth, highlighting the progressive employment practices of Endeavor Entrepreneurs that are contributing to South Florida's sustained, long-term economic success. As a part of an extensive global network with offices in 25 countries, we are lucky to have the support of business leaders from around the world who are committed to Endeavor's goal of creating economic growth through targeted and impactful entrepreneurship. We believe that Miami, and South Florida as a whole, is an exciting and unique market that is on the cusp of establishing itself as an international economic center. As part of Endeavor's mission, we have dedicated ourselves to identifying and supporting entrepreneurs whose vision extends far beyond Florida. Coming from an incredibly diverse background of experiences and industries, the entrepreneurs that we support mirror the diversity of Miami's economy while maintaining a commitment to growing not just their own companies, but also the local business community. As the world becomes more connected, it is increasingly important to define an identity as a leading entrepreneurial city, and Miami is on track to become just that. In fact, Miami is ranked #2 for startup activity in the country and now it's our collective job to get these startups to scale up! At its core, Miami has a vibrant spirit that will continue to fuel future innovation in the city. At Endeavor Miami, we are excited to continue to support our current entrepreneurs and to identify and select the leading companies of tomorrow. With a mentorship network comprised of South Florida's top business leaders, and invaluable partnerships with Bain & Company, eMerge Americas, EY, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, among many others, Endeavor Miami has the power to help transform Miami into a global leader for business, innovation and growth. We thank you for your continued support as we help our entrepreneurs think BIG and accelerate their growth to benefit the economic development of our community.
