COMPANY MINHA VIDA INDUSTRY HEALTH SELECTED 2009 COUNTRY BRAZIL In 2004, Daniel Wjuniski and Fernando Ortenblad saw the demand for online health and wellness infor- mation in their country and created the WebMD of Brazil. MinhaVida, which began as a nutrition website and has expanded to address all health issues, provides instant access to a virtual library of more than 15,000 texts and guides written by physicians, med- ical associations and universities. Selected by Endeavor in 2009, Minha Vida worked with Endeavor Brazil to connect with mentors, lawyers and consultants who have helped the entrepreneurs refine their growth and financing strategy, and build a strong organizational struc- ture to support a larger workforce. With 12 million registered users and 40 million hits per month, it has become the most popular health and wellness portal in Latin America. In 2012, the company became Endeavor Catalyst's second invest- ment—and first ever in Brazil. Just this past year, Minha Vida took a major step toward further growth when it acquired online app TechnoNutri, positioning the company as a dominant player in Brazil's healthy eating market. •… Daniel and Fernando recognized as EY ENTREPRENEURS OF THE YEAR ••ƒ Becomes first Brazilian company to receive funding from ENDEAVOR C ATALYST †•ƒ Minha Vida acquires online healthy eating app TecnoNutri ‡• • Invests in ENDEAVOR C ATALYST •‚• ˆ Receives services from Endeavor's eMBA Program -•• ‰ DANIEL AND FERNANDO are selected at the 32nd International Selection Panel (ISP) in Santiago, Chile M O R E T H A N 40 MILLION V I S I T S P E R M O N T H FERNANDO ORTENBLAD & DANIEL WJUNISKI THE JOURNEY OF AN ENDEAVOR ENTREPRENEUR MORE THAN 7.2M KILOS LOST USING MINHA VIDA DIET PLANS ••ƒ Š Daniel serves as a panelist at the 53rd ISP in Florianópolis, Brazil 8 EN D E AVO R I M PAC T R EP O RT 20 1 5 –1 6
