8 Martin Gedalin founded Lumia Capital to partner with leading tech companies in under-invested emerging markets and forward-thinking US companies targeting these markets to accelerate growth. At Lumia, Martin serves on the board of HIRED, EatStreet, and MarkaVIP. Martin is also responsible for overseeing Lumia's investments in Xtime (acquired by Cox Automotive), OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco), and Kabbage, among other companies. Martin launched Lumia af- ter four years at Focus Ventures, an IT venture capital firm in Palo Alto with $850M under man- agement and 110 investments across three funds. Prior to Focus, Martin was a Product Manager at Oracle. Martin holds a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Pamir is a Venture Partner at Hummingbird Ventures where he currently focuses his efforts on decentralized applications. His portfolio includes Kraken, Peak Games and Souqalmal. Previous- ly, he co-founded MarkaVIP (www.markavip.com), the leading online apparel and accessories e-tailer in the MENA region, as well as On Device Research (www.ondeviceresearch.com) and Flytxt, (www.flytxt.com). Prior to that, he worked at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, D.E.Shaw and Juno Online Services. Pamir received his BS in Electrical Engineering Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University. MARTIN GEDALIN Lumia Capital United States PAMIR GELENBE Hummingbird Ventures United Kingdom Zoltan works on the EBRD venture capital team where he is responsible for technology invest- ments in the CEEMEA region. Previously, he worked at Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group, identifying and executing new investment opportunities, as well as managing the performance of Virgin's portfolio companies. Prior to that, he worked as a strategy consultant in A.T. Kearney's Sydney and London offices. Zoltan studied corporate finance at the London Business School, holds a Master's degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and a Bach- elor's degree from the University of Technology, Sydney. ZOLTAN HOPKA EBRD Venture Capital United Kingdom Anne Glover is Chief Executive and Co-founder of Amadeus Capital Partners, where she com- bines experience of science, operations and venture capital. Anne was previously COO of Virtuality Group and worked in the U.S. at Cummins Engine Company and Bain & Co. A former Chairwoman of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (2004/5) and the European Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (2014/15), Anne is currently a member of the Prime Minister's Council for Science & Technology and of the London Business School's Private Equity Institute Advisory Board. She serves on the boards of Glysure and Nomad. She was awarded a CBE in 2006 for services to business and is an honorary fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
