9 Tom Hussey joined General Atlantic in 2013 and focuses on internet, technology and media investments. Portfolio companies include Argus Media, Vox Media, MeteoGroup and Flipp. Prior to GA, Tom was at 21st Century Fox focusing on EMEA media investments, and at The Boston Consulting Group. Tom holds a First Class M.A. from The Queen's College, Oxford University. TOM HUSSEY General Atlantic United Kingdom Bakhrom works with the EBRD venture capital team where he is responsible for technology investments in the CEEMEA region. He previously led investments in European and US technol- ogy companies as Founding Principal of Virgin Green Fund and as Investment Director of TLcom Capital. Bakhrom also served as Internet Finance Director and Associate Director of Planning and Analysis at Virgin Media. Bakhrom started his career as a technology investment banker with Cowen & Co and CSFB/DLJ. Bakhrom holds two Master degrees on academic scholarships from the London School of Economics and Cambridge University, and an honors Bachelor degree from Tashkent State Technical University in Uzbekistan. BAKHROM IBRAGIMOV EBRD Venture Capital United Kingdom Erik is an Investment Director in Intel Capital's London office where he has worked since 2007. His focus areas of investment include enterprise, mobile and consumer services. Erik brings a global perspective to venture capital and growth technology companies, having accrued nearly twenty years of experience working for venture capital funds and technology companies in Eu- rope, Israel, Asia-Pacific and the United States. Erik started his career with the investment bank Hambrecht & Quist, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions for high-growth companies in the communications, semiconductor, and software spaces. Erik holds a Bacehlor's degree from Princeton University. ERIK JORGENSEN Intel Capital United Kingdom Ali Karabey is a Managing Director at 212, a venture capital fund that focuses on investments in internet, communication and technology companies. Ali currently serves on the boards of Solvoyo, a SaaS provider of advanced supply chain optimization software, and Parcadeposu.com, Turkey's largest online B2B marketplace for auto parts. After graduating from University of Mich- igan, Ann Arbor, Ali resumed his career in Arthur Andersen's New York office in the Corporate Finance department, executing mid-market transactions in technology, media and telecommuni- cations industries. In 2002, he joined Morgan Stanley Capital International to manage the North American and European finance teams consecutively. After Morgan Stanley Ali transferred to Deutsche Bank to focus on the Bank's principal investments. ALI KARABEY 212 Ventures Turkey
