page 31 We re-engaged Bain in 2015 to conduct a deep dive analysis of Endeavor's search and selection criteria and outcomes. • Over the last decade, we deepened our conviction around Endeavor's theory of change: high-impact entrepreneurs disproportionately drive revenue growth, job creation, and ecosystem impact • As leader of the high-impact entrepreneurship movement, we aspire to further up our game by more consistently selecting entrepreneurs with greatest growth potential • To improve EE selection effectiveness, we examined 10+ years of selection data (including ISP deliberation notes) for over 500 EEs to understand: • What high-impact entrepreneurs "look like" at the time of selection • What competitive differentiators and red flags are typically associated with top and bottom performers for each profile type • What "blind spots" and biases our teams/boards/panelists need to overcome • These insights have been incorporated into revised staff and panelist training and will inform improvements in selection processes and tools going forward
