But does this mean we will forego Endeavor's nonprofit status?
With our partners at Bain, EY, and K&L Gates, we are investigating all of the best
practices and new hybrid structures.
While Endeavor's core mission continues to operate via our traditional nonprofit
structure (501(c)3 in the U.S.), today we ARE hybrid with our funds. LPs expect returns
as impact investors. And already several Endeavor countries have had to form an
LLC or other for-profit membership structure as Endeavor did not fit within national
"charity" guidelines.
We will continue to assess, but we will always be MISSION-DRIVEN!
Our North Star is and always will be supporting high-impact entrepreneurs and
building entrepreneurial ecosystems.
And for now, being hybrid invokes NO organizational structure change whatsoever.
So what do we mean when we say Endeavor should proudly claim its hybrid status?
