Risks to achieving our BHAGs
WITHIN OUR CONTROL:
1. Ensuring we indentify and select the BEST ENTREPRENEURS—Bain study must be put to use,
as well as the diamond/rocketship "watch lists" compiled by Insight and Investor Network teams.
2. Aligning boards, teams, and EEs around a common vision, mission, model, and 2020 BHAGs.
3. Ensuring our network internalizes Catalyst as mission-accretive and mission critical.
4. Raising Catalyst Fund II and implementing the "Pay-it-Forward Pledge" to propel Endeavor's
self-sustainability, while also finding mission-aligned funding to bridge short-to-midterm gaps.
5. Avoiding distractions—i.e. some "educational programs" and other non-core activities that we now
know do not move the needle.
6. Getting/keeping the right people "on the bus" at Endeavor—at Global and each country/city
office—while also seeking "fresh blood" for our teams and boards.
OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL:
1. Currency devaluations and other economic fluctuations.
2. Political instability affecting local markets.
3. Nuclear freeze in global venture capital.
