12 GOKHAN GUNER ACT Venture Partners Turkey RAJ GOLLAMUDI Intel Capital United States Gokhan Guner is the Managing Partner of ACT Venture Partners. He has over 15 years of experience in technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship, investing, and engineering. Prior to ACT Venture Partners, he was an investment manager at Inventram, a Turkish technology commercialization and seed capital fund. In the early days of his career, he worked as an engineer at various US companies, including Lucent Technologies, Cadence Design Systems, and Moseley Wireless Solutions. After receiving an MBA from the London Business School in 2008, Gokhan returned back to Turkey and has been an active member of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He received his B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Bilkent University, and M.S. and Ph.D. (all but dissertation) degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Raj Gollamudi joined Intel Capital in 2013 and focuses on investments in the mobile sector. Previously, he was an Investment Partner at Omidyar Network, an impact investing firm where he was responsible for mobile technology investments in emerging markets. Before joining Omidyar, Raj was a General Partner of BlueStream Ventures, a $300 million technology venture capital firm which he co-founded in 2000. Raj also spent five years as an equity research analyst at technology investment banking firms Thomas Weisel Partners and RBC Capital Markets, where he covered a range of software sectors. Raj began his career as a software developer at Sun Microsystems and was an early employee at Lucid, a venture-funded software startup. Raj has an MBA in finance from the Wharton School, a Master's in computer science from Clemson University, and a Bachelor's in electrical engineering from BITS, Pilani in India. MARTIN GEDALIN Lumia Capital United States CARL FRITJOFSSON Creandum United States Martin founded Lumia Capital in early 2011 to partner with leading tech companies in underinvested emerging markets and forward-thinking US companies targeting these markets to accelerate growth. At Lumia, Martin serves on the board of MarkaVIP, the Middle East's largest private shopping club. Prior to Lumia, Martin was a later-stage venture capital investor at Focus Ventures, an IT-focused venture capital firm in Palo Alto with $850M under management. At Focus, Martin helped lead the firm's Internet and software efforts and was instrumental in numerous investments such as Cyan, Buzz Media,Sojern, Sepaton and Reputation.com. Prior to Focus, Martin was a Product Manager at Oracle. Martin holds a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Carl is a battle-scarred entrepreneur and investor who has seen many sides of the tech ecosystem. He started his career in management consulting and went on to co-found the digital ad network AdProfit, bootstrapping the business into one of the leading digital channels for B2B advertising in the Nordics. Following this he joined Creandum as a member of the investment team but soon left to co-found Wrapp, which became a portfolio company of not only Creandum but also prominent VCs like Greylock and Atomico. As COO of Wrapp, Carl was responsible for scaling the company internationally across 18 markets and raising an aggregate of $27M in VC funding. After close to 4 years with Wrapp, Carl left to work with the world's most active seed investor 500 Startups in San Francisco. In parallel to this Carl is a part-time Venture Partner with Creandum supporting its portfolio in the US market.
