14 PAUL MARQUARD Alt Ventures Mexico Paul Marquard has extensive experience in the financial sector. He has been the Co-Founder and CFO at Kichink, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Mexico for the past four years. He co-founded tech-based company builder Nido Incubadora and in 2013 he joined the Endeavor Entrepreneur's network. He worked for four years in financial services at Lorantms, where he was responsible for financial forecasting and risk management. Paul studied Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Iberoamericana and received his MBA in 2013 from Babson College. SAMIR MALVIYA Unitus Impact United States REZA MALEKZADEH Partech Ventures United States CARLOS KOKRON Qualcomm Ventures Brazil Samir is a Principal at Unitus Impact where he is primarily responsible for the firm's work in India. Prior to joining Unitus Impact in 2012, Samir worked at Developing World Markets (DWM), an asset management firm based in New York where he originated debt and equity transactions for microfinance institutions based in SE Asia and Latin America. Prior to DWM, Samir worked at Ujjivan Financial Services, one of India's largest microfinance institutions based in Bangalore. Earlier in his career, Samir worked as a financial analyst in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs. Samir holds an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where he is the Chairman of the Board of the UM Social Venture Fund. He has a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Northwestern University. Reza is a General Partner at Partech Ventures, based in San Francisco. He is an active catalyst and leader in the French Silicon Valley tech community and an advocate of French and European technological innovation. He has twenty years of experience in various executive sales, marketing and operations roles for both large and startup companies. He was one of the very early VMware employees, joining the company in 1998, and has also co-founded and successfully sold two startups. Carlos Kokron is Vice President and Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures in Latin America. He is currently a board member or observer at 99Taxis, Loggi, Ingresse, Emprego Ligado and Meus Pedidos. He started his career as an engineer in process industries having held positions in operations and process engineering, as well as strategic planning and corporate finance at Unilever in Brazil and at Unocal 76 (now Chevron) in California. Prior to joining Qualcomm Ventures he was responsible for Intel's business with service providers in Latin America. Earlier, Kokron was Director of Intel Capital for Latin America and Southwest U.S. and Partner at Stratus Group in Brazil responsible for the firm's growth capital platform. Kokron holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering and has earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley. Kokron has been an Endeavor mentor since 2001.
