At IFC, Nikunj has led over 25 growth equity investments, several of which have had successful exits, and has taken on board positions on several of IFC's portfolio companies. Prior to joining IFC in Washington DC, Nikunj spent nine years living and working in Asia. He was a Managing Director for one of Asia's leading venture funds. Earlier Nikunj spent 4 years in the Asian investment banking industry providing M&A and corporate finance services to clients throughout the region. In addition, he was the co-owner of South East Asia's largest independent marketing communications agency. Nikunj has an MBA from Stanford and an Master's in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Karim is a Managing Partner at Algebra Ventures and active investor/mentor to tech businesses in Egypt and the US. He's a tech veteran with deep experience in product management and innovation as well as scaling businesses, particularly in healthcare and financial services. Karim is founder and Chairman of D-Kimia Diagnostic Solutions, which develops fast, affordable, and accurate medical diagnostics using nano-technology. He was previously SVP of Products and Engineering at WebMD, founder/CTO at Riskclick, Inc, and a consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton. Karim is also an investment committee member of Leap Ventures, Chairman of the entrepreneurship committee of the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council, and a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Karim received his PhD in Information Systems from MIT and a BSc from Carnegie Mellon University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Karim has over 40 refereed scientific publications. Atul S. Joshi is Managing Partner of Raga Partners, a private investment firm, and Chief Investment Officer of a New York-based family office. Prior to founding Raga, Atul was a Principal and Portfolio Manager at KKR. Previously, he was a Vice President in the Principal Strategies investing unit at Goldman Sachs and an investment banking analyst at Citigroup. He serves on the New York Public Library's Young Lions Committee and is an Endeavor Mentor. Atul is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business and is a Fulbright Scholar. David's career has been in growth-focused private equity and venture capital. He is a Partner at Invus Opportunities. Prior to Invus, David was a Vice-President at Valor Capital Group, an emerging market venture capital fund, where he focused primarily on Latin American consumer internet investments. Prior to Valor, David was an Associate at Monitor Clipper Partners, a growth-focused mid-market fund with ~$2B in AUM, where he was a member of the European investment team based out of Zurich. In that capacity, he was active across Western Europe with a primary focus on consumer, healthcare, and business service investments. David has an MBA from the Wharton School at UPenn where he was a Chrysler Foundation Fellow and a BSFS in International Politics, magna cum laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
