Previously, he was an Investment Associate at Cambridge Associates, a global investment firm that delivers portfolio management services to institutional and private investors. At CA, Malcolm provided investment guidance to college endowments, foundations, and ultra high net worth families with a focus on venture capital and impact investing. Malcolm graduated from Amherst College where he ran the school's Entrepreneurship Society. Lylan is a late Seed, Series A & B investor at White Star Capital. He previously led Product and Engineering organizations in his 15-year operating career, and most notably worked 4.5 years at aQuantive, acquired by Microsoft for $6.3 billion. Lylan is a Kauffman Fellow, class 19. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Lylan has lived in Canada, and the east and west coasts of the US and now calls New York home. The trends he focuses on are IoT and M2M, disruptive commerce, and the digitalization of finance, as well as how AI and data are critical to each of these trends. Lylan's writing has been featured in Business Insider, VentureBeat and Entrepreneur, and he has been interviewed in the podcasts Something Ventured and The Successful Pitch. Nimay is a Partner at Lead Edge Capital, which invests in growth stage software and internet businesses. Prior to Lead Edge, he was on the investment teams at Eastern Advisors, Insight Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners, where he invested in growth-stage technology companies. Nimay received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard College. Lucas Nelson is a Principal at Evolution Equity Partners, where he works in the New York office helping early stage founders navigate both the US and European cyber security markets. Lucas is a proud geek; a hacker turned VC. Lucas brings a unique mix of technical depth and business knowledge to bear when Evolution works with a company. He is most excited by companies that are trying to use technology to make a dent in the universe.
