Prior to Loup Ventures, Doug was a research analyst at Piper Jaffray where he covered the Internet space including Apple, Google and Facebook. Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 2008, Doug was an early employee in sales and operations at Enpocket, which was later acquired by Nokia. Doug's experience at Enpocket led to his interest in startups. Doug holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University. Matt joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2013 and focuses on investments in application software and SaaS companies. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Matt worked at Insight Venture Partners, where he focused globally on investments in growth-stage software, eCommerce, internet, and data-services companies. Matt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics and a concentration in Finance. While at Wharton, he worked as a teaching assistant for the Chairperson of the Finance Department. Matt also spent a summer studying and living in Florence, Italy. Joe De Pinho is an Associate at Riverwood Capital. Prior to Riverwood, Joe led corporate development at Pixeon, a Riverwood portfolio company, where he focused on M&A and corporate strategy. He previously worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, where he worked with companies in Brazil on M&A and capital markets deals. Before J.P. Morgan, Joe was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. He also holds a MBA degree from Columbia Business School. Mike Droesch joined Bessemer Venture Partners' New York City office as a senior associate in 2017. He focuses on cloud software and infrastructure, developer platforms, and telecommunications. Prior to BVP, Mike worked with a few venture-backed startups in Boston, including spending time at two BVP companies, Fuze and InsightSquared, where he supported sales operations and analytics efforts. Mike started his career as a systems engineer and then spent nearly three years in management consulting at Navigant, where he helped companies build new businesses around emerging energy and infrastructure technologies in the U.S. and Middle East. Mike holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a master's degree in naval architecture and engineering from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University.
