TWO JORDANIAN Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Fadi Al-Atrash and Amjad Aryan, were featured as major players in the healthcare sector by The National, a daily English-language newspaper published in Abu Dhabi. JEERAN, an Endeavor Jordan company, received funding from accelerator 500 Startups after an introduction by Endeavor. Though there are more than 344 million Arabic speakers worldwide, less than 1% of all online content is in Arabic. Aiming to capitalize on this opportunity, Firas, Mohammed, and Wael founded Think Arabia in 2010 to offer original, creative Arabic media products and services including animated cartoon shorts, mobile phone applications, and multimedia design services. The company has received wide recognition through Kharabeesh, its ani- mated arm, whose cartoons have attracted up to 1.8 million viewers. Endeavor has facilitated two major investments for Think Arabia and the establishment of a joint venture where a new business unit was created.
