endeavormiami.org Endeavor's rigorous selection process ensures that scalable, high- impact entrepreneurs are selected into its South Florida portfolio. Endeavor Miami staff conducts approximately 40 first opinion reviews per quarter to screen potential candidate companies. Slightly less than half of these companies are selected to continue to second opinion reviews where mentors vet business models and provide actionable feedback. On average, around 12 companies are annually selected to participate in quarterly local selection panels where panelists must unanimously vote in their favor to continue in the selection process. Lastly, Endeavor Miami sends approximately 10 companies each year to international selection panels, with an average pass rate of 70%. Endeavor affiliates abide by a standardized selection process to ensure an even and consistent playing field for candidates across industries and markets in 27 different countries. Endeavor Miami staff assesses entrepreneur's application and conducts preliminary research to determine whether to interview the candidates. Endeavor Miami staff conducts a one-hour interview to assess the candidate's viability. Endeavor Miami mentors conduct interviews with each candidate, probing the business' strategy, innovation, growth- potential and entrepreneur's personal qualities. A panel of local mentors and board members interview, deliberate and select candidates for an ISP. Endeavor mentors and board members serve as panelists to interview candidates, deliberate and select a new class of Endeavor Entrepreneurs by unanimous vote.
