A graduate of MIT's Sloan School of Management and a Paypal veteran, Adolfo founded Clip in 2012 with the mission of providing payment solutions to small and medium-sized merchants—groups traditionally underserved by banks. e Clip system is the first in Mexico to include a chip reader, and Clip is one of two companies in the world to develop a proprietary design for the reader to ensure security. A true pioneer in Mexico, Clip has charted new paths for local fintech companies in the country's rapidly growing economy, raising rounds with international funds—including Endeavor Catalyst—at a time when outside interest was sparse. Adolfo's commitment to developing and improving the local entrepreneurship ecosystem goes hand-in-hand with his own goals for Clip. As an Endeavor Entrepreneur, he has actively taken advantage of opportunities to serve as a role model and promoter, mentoring entrepreneurs, serving as a panelist at International Selection Panels, and giving various talks on his experiences and business growth.
