M O R O C C O q TARIK FADLI , founder of Algo Consulting, shared his entrepreneurial success story with more than 1,000 university students from across Morocco at the Enactus conference in Rabat. Tarik left his stable job at Microsoft to start Algo Consulting, an IT company, out of a local café. Today, Algo employs hundreds of engineers and has offices in three cities. INFOMINEO, founded by Hamza Laraichi and Martin Tronquit, earned interna- tional media recognition in publications such as the Financial Times and Telquel for its innovative market insights and investment research focused on Middle East and Africa (MEA) markets and con- sumers. Infomineo deploys the largest research team dedicated to the MEA region across 26 countries. K E (Kilimanjaro Environment) founder Youssef Chaqor presented the Eko-Geste Dari mobile app—a platform that facilitates on-demand collection of household waste—to a global audi- ence at the United Nations' COP22 Climate Change Conference in Marrakech. The company was named "Most Innovative Brand" by the Moroccan Office for Industrial and Commercial Property. { OM NIUP, an internet access and wi-fi technology company with the ambi- tious goal of connecting Moroccans at zero cost, was awarded "Innovation of the Year" by Maroc Telecom, the largest tele- com operator in Morocco. Founded by Ali Bensouda, Omniup's innovative business model finances the network through targeted and geo-local- ized advertisements. entrepreneurs 10 Companies 9 Flag Founded 2013 P E R U ENDE AVOR PERU celebrated its third anniversary, launching the office's first-ever Impact Report. Endeavor Peru also hosted the country's first International Selection Panel in Lima, drawing 150 participants from 13 countries, and welcom- ing six new Peruvian Endeavor Entrepreneurs. CINEPAPAYA , founded by Manuel Olguin and Gary Urteaga, was acquired by major online ticket- ing agency Fandango, expanding Fandango's reach to seven new countries. Founded in 2012, Cinepapaya is widely regarded as one of the most successful startups in Peru, with millions of dollars in movie ticket sales each year. { CREHANA founder Diego Olcese raised a bridge round of $1 million in funding from angel investors and New York- based VC firms. Crehana, a project-based learning community where free- lancers in creative, design, or digital industries refine real-world skills through short courses, has 130,000 registered users across 15 countries worldwide, 300 published courses, and 135 content creators. ENDE AVOR PERU launched the Peruvian Investor Network, following in the footsteps of several other Endeavor offices in the region.
