The growing company also welcomed former Paypal director of financial strategic partner- ships Jonathan Knoll on board as a country manager for Central Europe. LUVU YO R ANI , founder of Silulo Ulutho Technologies, Endeavor Excelerator grad- uate, and current Endeavor entrepreneur, received a 2016 Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year award, which earned him an invitation to the World Economic Forum on Africa in Kigali, Rwanda in May, 2016. BR ANDSE Y E , a social media monitoring com- pany, led by Craig Raw and JP Kloppers, gained international recognition when its proprietary anal- ysis and listening platform accurately predicted the results of both the U.S. Presidential Election and Brexit ahead of the votes, despite mainstream polls predicting differently. IO, a digital media company founded by Trevor Wolfe that connects brands with marketing pro- fessionals to gain feedback on creative campaigns, took home an IIeX 2017 EU award—the first African company to do so. The company's innovative foldable bike helmet has gained brand recognition and worldwide adoption thanks to partnerships with high-end designers and boutiques like the MoMa Design Store, Adidas, Paul Smith and TED. SM ARTICK teamed up with fellow Endeavor Spain company Alto Analytics to form a strategy to expand into the US. Using Alto's big data software to identify and analyze the digital conversation about edtech, which lead to identifying influenc- ers, Smartick was able to implement an inbound lead strategy using influencer marketing that increased brand awareness and attracted qualified leads. y SEEDTAG, founded by Albert Nieto and Jorge Poyatos, expanded its operations to Brazil with support from the Endeavor network. The in-image advertising company also closed a $2.4 million investment round with Endeavor's support, which will help accel- erate Seedtag's growth and further expansion. A STI , a mobile robotics company led by Veronica Pascual Boe, partnered with INSEAD to work with MBA students from the prestigious university to propose and design new collaborative strategies for ASTI to improve market share and company capac- ity.
