Patel is a Partner at Owl Ventures, an edtech focused VC fund. Amit is on the Board of Securly, Lingo Live, Thinkful, Tinkergarten, Panorama Education, and uAspire (non-profit). Amit has worked with several other edtech companies, including TenMarks (acquired by Amazon), RaiseMe, LearnZillion, Accelerate Learning, DreamBox, Quizlet, Newsela, Abl and EdSurge. Before joining Owl, Amit was the Director of Technology for Success Academies, Director of Quality Assurance at Mathnasium, and Co-Founder of Personal Academic Trainers. Amit was an Education Pioneers Graduate Fellow and earned a MBA/MA in Education from Stanford. He is also completing the Pahara NextGen Fellowship. Mark Noronha is the Global Startup Engagement Lead of SAP Startup Focus Program. He is responsible for enabling startups building (Big) Data, Intelligence, Predictive & Real Time products bring their innovation to SAP's Enterprise customers. In a career spanning almost twenty years in Silicon Valley, Mark's experiences have had him create, transform and manage enterprise and consumer-focused organizations at the intersection of design, data & technology. Mark is also a Co-Founder of Raaya Design, an innovation & design firm based in San Francisco. Mark has a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune, India. Karolina has investment responsibilities in enterprise technology & services at FTV Capital. Prior to joining FTV, Karolina worked in the technology mergers & acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. At Lazard, Karolina advised companies in the enterprise software and internet verticals. Prior to Lazard, Karolina worked in the industrials group at Deutsche Bank. Karolina graduated from Duke University, where she received a BA in political science and psychology. Scott Ransenberg is a Principal with Riverwood Capital. Prior to joining Riverwood, Scott worked with the Credit Suisse Technology Group in the Corporate Finance, Investment Banking Division based in San Francisco. While at Credit Suisse, Scott advised on and executed a number of strategic financing initiatives for leading public and private companies in the technology sector. Scott graduated from Stanford University where he earned his bachelor's degree in mathematical and computational sciences and was a captain of the men's varsity swim team.
