She is an experienced business development professional with strong ties to the tech and venture capital ecosystems. In her role, Lauren ensures that the firm is a steward of Orrick's clients' businesses. She is skilled in marketing and digital strategy, fundraising, community management, and sales. She spends a great amount time in a market- facing capacity working with entrepreneurs on tactical practices. To further support Orrick's commitment to each client's success, Lauren provides fundraising strategy to founders and thoughtfully shops potential deals to Orrick's robust network of investors. Lauren also manages the firm's Total Access entrepreneur series, which is designed to add value for Orrick's clients, strategic partners, and the tech community more broadly. Previously, Lauren held client development roles at Cleary Gottlieb and Advanced Health Media. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a BA in Marketing and BFA in Dance Studies. Andrew Miller, a corporate associate in Orrick's Silicon Valley office, is a member of the Technology Companies group. Andrew represents high-growth technology companies and venture capital firms in many areas, including corporate and securities law, formation, ongoing corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, and venture capital financings. Andrew also has previous business experience working and consulting for start-ups such as Thumbtack, Jebbit and Enservio; investors, including G51 Capital and PV Ventures and Barclays Investment Bank. Andrew was the first outside investor in Jebbit, a company that provides interactive content management solutions for marketers, which was recognized as one of the most promising companies in the world by CNBC. Mike Sullivan is a partner and head of Orrick's Corporate group in the San Francisco office. His practice focuses on representing emerging companies, entrepreneurs, and angels/ venture capital funds. Mike has led hundreds of financing and M&A transactions for emerging companies in a wide variety of industries, particularly in the software, satellite/space, mobile, digital media, cleantech, and food/wine/spirits sectors. Mike is a faculty member of the Practicing Law Institute's Venture Capital series, and he is a contributor to Venture Capital & Public Offering Negotiation (Aspen Law & Business). Perry Teicher leads Orrick's Impact Finance and Investment practice, advising clients who seek to create a positive environmental and social impact as part of their business or investment strategy. Perry advises clients on a wide range of corporate, private equity, venture capital transactions, and nonprofit transactions. He focuses on impact-oriented domestic and cross- border investments and M&A, as well as fund formation for nonprofit and for-profit sponsors. Perry regularly advises companies and tax-exempt organizations on corporate governance and financing matters. Perry serves on the advisory boards of numerous impact investing organizations, including the Global Impact Investing Network, Echoing Green, and LAVAN. Perry previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan and has a JD, MBA, and BA in Organizational Studies and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
