4 SPEAKERS Bryan Crowley was named CEO of Soylent in December of 2017 after joining the company as President in May of 2017. Crowley manages Soylent's leadership team, develops and deploys the company's business and people strategy, in addition to overseeing all day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Soylent, Crowley was Chief Strategy officer at KeVita, a leading artisan of fermented probi- otic and kombucha beverages. As CSO, Crowley identified breakthrough business strategies, transformed the brand experience, and built a multi-year innovation strategy and pipeline, all of which helped to drive +80% growth, record EBITDA, and a sale to beverage giant PepsiCo. Following the acquisition, Crowley led the team that managed the successful transition into PepsiCo. Crowley came to KeVita from VeeV Spirits, where, as President, he launched the first-ever Certified Or- ganic ready-to-drink cocktail line. He also repositioned the core product to better compete in the premium vodka category, and, in March of 2016, shepherded the sale of the company to Luxco Imports. Prior to working at VeeV, Crowley served as Chief Marketing Officer for Pabst Brewing Company, where he transformed the marketing function of the $700M+ Pabst portfolio of 34 brands. He helped drive a +10% pt. volume turnaround in 2011 while responsible for business strategy, brand strategy development and execution, field marketing. and financial performance. His innovative approach helped to re-energize key brands, like Pabst Blue Ribbon, Colt45 and, most notably, Old Milwaukee, where he worked with Will Ferrell on the award- winning campaign that spurred a +15% pt brand turnaround. Before he joined Pabst, Crowley served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Mars Inc., leading the iconic UNCLE BEN'S® brand, launching Uncle Ben's Ready Rice and growing the line from #4 to #1 in the category – surpassing long -standing competitors and exceeding $100M in sales. Crowley was appointed Global Brand Leader and led global branding and innovation initiatives for the $1B+ rice brand. Crowley began his career in sales at Anheuser Busch after a short rally as a tennis professional and earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.
