Gabe is the CEO of Freenome, an AI biotech company focused on creating tools that empower people to detect, diagnose, and treat their diseases, such as cancer. The company has raised over $77M towards this mission from investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences), Google Ventures, Polaris Partners, and Founders Fund. Gabe has extensive experience in both tech and biotech, applying the fusion of both fields to help enable Freenome's mission. As a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, he focused his research on chromatin biology and epigenetics of aging and age-associated diseases. He earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry and computational biology from Cornell University. He has also worked at companies like Apple, Tumblr, and Glyde as a software engineer. Gabe's work has been recognized by several publications and groups including TEDMED and Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare. Prior to starting her a commercialization consultancy for the genomics and health tech industries, Ruby led 23andMe's global commercial marketing efforts, expanding collaboration with industry and academic institutions and creating more business-to-business partnerships. She has a wealth of experience commercializing genomics internationally, having worked for a variety of notable biotech companies. Before 23andMe, Ruby served as the head of marketing and commercial development at Invitae Corporation, a genetic information company. Prior to her work there, she worked at Affymetrix, Inc., where she headed international marketing and clinical development. Earlier in her career, Ruby also worked with other genomics companies including Life Technologies, Dharmacon and AbGene. A native of the UK, Ruby holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University College London. Sean Duffy is the Co-founder and CEO of Omada Health, a digital behavioral medicine company dedicated to inspiring and empowering people everywhere to live free of chronic conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. In 2017, Omada was recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and in 2016, the company was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. An in-demand speaker and thought leader, Sean's accolades include a spot on The San Francisco Business Times' 2015 list of ""40 Under 40,"" Diabetes Forecast magazine's list of ""2014 Diabetes All Stars," and JPMorgan's list of the ""100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2014." Sean's past speaking engagements include Clinton Global Initiative Health Matters Summit, SXSW Interactive, the Society for Behavioral Medicine, the JPMorgan Healthcare Conference, and others. He has written extensively about digital health and the future of healthcare in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the New England Journal of Medicine, and TechCrunch, among other publications. Prior to Omada, Sean worked at both Google and IDEO. A former MD/MBA candidate at Harvard, he holds a BS in neuroscience from Columbia University.
