Jackson Gates is the VP of Strategic Partnerships at Affirm and leads the teams responsible for corporate development and strategic partnerships with banks, credit bureaus, payments companies and other core stack product partners. Prior to Affirm Jackson was the CEO and Co-founder of Sweep, a forward-looking, mobile finance application that helped consumers predict and manage their cash flows. He joined Affirm following the company's acquisition of Sweep Inc. in the Spring of 2016. Over the past 20+ years, Jackson has been involved in technology startups at all levels including CEO, founder, EIR, advisor, executive and investor. As an operator Jackson served as VP of Business Development at Pandora (2008 - 2012) and VP of Business Development at Edmodo (2013). As an investor, Jackson funded early-stage technology companies as a part of the investment teams at Vulcan Capital and Tenaya Capital. He received his MBA from Stanford and his bachelors degree from Georgetown University. Rohit leads Propel's international fund and is looking to partner with entrepreneurs building transformational companies that impact financial services. Rohit joined Propel from American Express Ventures, which he helped launch in 2011. He has invested in a wide range of areas such as data analytics, Al, enterprise security, payments, and digital commerce. He also led and managed Amex Ventures' international investments in Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific. Representative investments include inAuth (acquired), Enigma, Plaid, Signifyd, Trulioo, Capillary Technologies, and Clip. Earlier in his career Rohit held various positions at Motorola in R&D, business development, and its ventures division. He has developed key mobile video and security technologies and holds seven US patents. Andy Tsao is a Managing Director and leads SVB's Global Gateway, which assists innovation companies in the emerging markets with their US and international market expansion. He brings more than 20 years of experience banking dynamic companies in technology industries worldwide. In his roles, Tsao manages SVB's relationships with venture capital and private equity firms outside the U.S., and also helps emerging market companies as they seek U.S. market entry and U.S. companies as they seek to expand abroad. In both capacities, Tsao provides these firms with strategic advice and banking services, including debt financing, based on a deep understanding of their needs. Previously, Tsao led and helped found SVB's U.K.-based operation, SVB Financial Group UK Ltd, which was established in 2004. Tsao is a TiE Silicon Valley Charter Member and Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA) Silicon Valley Co-President and Charter Member, and serves on the West Coast Advisory Board for Colgate University. Tsao earned a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and an MBA from Boston University.
