EMILIANO KARGIEMAN Founder and CEO, Satellogic ALDI HARYOPRATOMO CEO, GO-PAY Group Previous: Co-Founder & CEO, Mapan (aka RUMA) Emiliano Kargieman, known to his friends as "EK", has spent the last 30 years building technology and technology companies. As a founder of Core Security Technologies, EK developed the first automated penetration testing software, earning the loyalty of clients such as Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, Homeland Security, NSA, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and DARPA. As the co-founder and Managing Director of venture capital firm Aconcagua Ventures, EK focused on investing in high-tech startups in Latin America to develop them as global businesses. In the summer of 2010, after serendipitously spending some time at NASA Ames campus in Mountain View, he started developing the concepts that would become Satellogic. Emiliano is 42, has a formal background in Number Theory and Philosophy and is married to Pola, a fiction author who shares his passion for technology. When not thinking about, or building technology, Emiliano enjoys reading, writing, playing chess and other random sports. He is trying to learn to play the trumpet. Aldi Haryopratomo is the CEO of GO-PAY Group. Prior to joining GO-PAY, Aldi led the end-to-end development of Arisan Mapan (RUMA). He grew Mapan's organization from inception in 2009 to 1200+ employees today, consisting of Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Human Capital, Risk, Customer Service, Product and Engineering, and Regulatory Relation functions. Prior to Mapan, Aldi worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a bottom- of-the-pyramid specialist. For example, he helped set-up agent banking in Pakistan. In addition, he was an early employee at Kiva, a San Francisco based non-profit organization, where he toured around Indonesia and Vietnam on a motorbike hunting for microfinance banks. Aldi grew up on the outskirts of Jakarta, and has both seen Blok M in the early days and herded goats for his family's side business. Aldi's father spent most of his life building roads for Indonesia because he believed that roads would provide people with access to opportunities; therefore, Aldi spent time trying to find out how he would create access for communities that could improve their lives. Aldi holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Engineering from Purdue University.
