ANITA HOSSAIN USA, First Round Capital Anita leads the knowledge program at First Round, where she designs and launches initiatives – from summits to unconferences to masterclasses and more – that provide entrepreneurs and tech operators resources to stay motivated, accelerate their businesses, and build community. Anita is also an executive coach and group facilitator at Reboot where she supports clients on their journeys to become the most effective and intentional leaders they can be. Before joining First Round, Anita was an Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank and managed over $400MM in investment portfolios for Latin American clients. She also worked for MTV and Nickelodeon to create integrated marketing strategies and amplify their social impact initiatives. During her time in graduate school, she consulted for Neighborhood Film Company with a focus on creating strategic partnerships and community engagement. She was the founder of a storytelling series (much like the Moth) where students had the chance to practice public speaking and tell stories that inspire and build community. Finally, she co-led, One for the World, a movement to encourage more people to make effective charitable giving a habit. Anita graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University, where she studied Marketing and International Business with a minor in Spanish. She is also an MBA graduate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She loves traveling without itineraries, cooking (but mainly eating) Bengali food, and hosting murder mystery nights. A trusted CEO coach, Punit offers a unique perspective developed via insights from 10,000+ coaching conversations and from working with CEOs/Entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, Europe, and Emerging Markets combined with coaching acquired founders at Google. Earlier in his career, Punit was an Executive Search Consultant in the Silicon Valley and Los Angeles offices of Korn Ferry, where he conducted senior-level assignments, including many C-suite roles, within the Global Technology and Media & Entertainment practices. Prior to Korn Ferry, Punit was a Management Consultant with Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on strategy and operations across a wide array of industries. He also worked at a Silicon Valley start-up and in the United Kingdom for a leading mobile services provider overseeing a brand portfolio with P&L responsibility. An experienced speaker, Punit has addressed Oxford University, Stanford University, Berkeley University and numerous private CEO audiences. Punit holds a BA in Economics with honors from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He has served on the corporate advisory board for the Center for Management Communication at the University of Southern California.
