Aldi worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and has an extensive microfinance
experience evaluating and securing deals with microfinance institutions in Southeast
Asia for Kiva.org, a San Francisco based non-profit organization. He also worked for the
United Nations Development Program as an advisor to the Tsunami Reconstruction and
Rehabilitation Body in Aceh, where he created a program using telecenters to stimulate
economic growth in the SME and agricultural sector. Aldi co-founded Ruma in 2008 and
continues to run the organization as Chief Executive Officer. He holds an MBA from Harvard
Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Purdue University.
