She has 13+ years of experience at leading banks including Banco Santander and BBVA Bancomer, where she primarily focused on digital growth strategies. She has experience working in Mexico, Chile and Colombia. AMANDA JACOBSON Fiinlab by Gentera Mexico Amanda's goal is to end financial exclusion by creating partnerships between entrepreneurs and Fiinlab. Before working at Fiinlab, Amanda helped Village Capital in Latin America, a program that prepares entrepreneurs to raise capital. In this role, she supported 50 startups and invested in 8, predominantly in the financial inclusion and health sectors in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile. Amanda studied Business and Psychology at Emory University's Goizueta Business School, and loves climbing and salsa dancing. JUAN CARLOS ESPINOSA HSBC Mexico Juan Carlos Espinosa is the Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation at HSBC. He has 25+ years of experience in several industries including banking, mobile, telecommunications, information technology and consulting. He has held senior management positions across multiple funcitonal areas including sales, innovation, strategic planning, business development & marketing. He has experience working in various LatAm marketes including México, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia and Puerto Rico. Juan Carlos holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Tecnológico de Monterrey. LELAND HOLCOMB Hartford InsurTech Hub United States Leland leads scouting and investor relations for the Startupbootcamp powered Hartford InsurTech Hub. Leland performs market research to help identify insurtech trends, sources innovative insurtech companies, manages the network of investors and assists startups through the investment process. Prior to joining Hartford InsurTech Hub, Leland worked as a Global Fellow on the India deal team with Patamar Capital, an impact investment venture capital fund making investments in companies that improve the livelihoods of the working poor in South and Southeast Asia. Leland graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in Political Science with concentrations in Public Policy and Humane Studies. He has also earned certifications in Venture Deals and Social Enterprise.
