ENDEAVOR IMPACT REPORT 2011 – 2012 established a usd $100 million vc firm, Kaszek Ventures, to invest in emerging Latin American tech entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, their former colleague Marcos continues to head MercadoLibre.com, which by year-end 2011 was valued at a market cap of usd $3 billion, had usd $300 million in revenues, employed over 1,300 people, and had enabled over 50,000 resellers to launch their own businesses. An Endeavor Insight study found that Marcos and Hernán directly inspired or mentored the founders of more than 15 compa- nies. Notably, Marcos and Hernan inspired four young Argentines to establish Globant, a leader in the outsourcing of sophis- ticated software development that has attracted clients like Google. After growing their business into an employer of 3000+, Globant's founders began actively mentoring the next generation of entrepre- neurs.
